provides cathodic protection current by means of self-dissolving in the corrosive medium when it is electrically connected to the protected object.
There is Magnesium alloy, Zinc Alloy, Aluminum alloy anode.
It can be packed in cotton bag with backfill backfill of 75% powdered gypsum, 20% granular bentonite and 5% sodium sulphate and cable connected.
Impressed current cathodic protection:
supplies the needed protection current from outside and makes the protected metal cathode. Special materials are used for the auxiliary anode.
